ArcCare FAQs

We have the right to increase the subscription price each year, any price increase will be applied on the annual anniversary of your ArcCare plan.
Yes – you can do this when you set up your plan. First payment will be taken 15 days to 6 weeks after your installation depending on the date you have picked
On the date set out in your order confirmation email and subsequently each month on the same date.
If we cannot collect payment using your chosen payment method, we will email you to let you know and your ArcCare Plan will be put on hold. We will try to take payment again within 5 days, up to a maximum of 3 attempts. If we have still not been able to take payment after this, we will cancel the ArcCare Plan without liability and no refunds will be due to you.

No, we have different ArcCare plans depending on when your HarveyArc was installed. Please review our website page or talk to a Harvey employee on 01483 753404 to discuss which ArcCare plan works best for you. Your ArcCare plan will start from the day you set up your Direct Debit.
We can help you with that – you can keep your existing plan in place and we can help with the uninstallation and reinstallation of your water softener (subject to our then current fees).
No, you will not be entitled to a refund of any payments made before the cancellation of your plan takes effect.
For all other ArcCare plans, you can cancel your ArcCare plan at anytime by giving 30 days' notice to customercare@harvey.co.uk. However, if you are signed up to ArcCare Aftercare and wish to cancel in the first 12 months, you will be liable to pay the remaining monthly payments up to and including the annual anniversary of your plan.
Provided you have an active subscription plan and all payments have been made in accordance with the plan, if your water softener breaks beyond economical repair, then we will replace your water softener at no cost to you within the first 20 years of its life (exclusions may apply as set out in our ArcCare Subscription Terms found here).
Your direct debit is set up via our partners at GoCardless, you will receive an email requesting your details. We will never ask you for these, all data is managed and handled by GoCardless for your added security
If a filter replacement is included in your plan, this will occur yearly during your water softener health check.
We will contact you when your water softener health check is due so that we can schedule an appointment for you. You must inform us of any changes to your contact details so we can contact you. In the event that we are not able to reach you and your water softener health check is not completed, this may affect your ongoing cover.
At the end of each full year. You can notify us of amendments to your plan in the first 14 days or on an annual anniversary of your plan.
You can order more salt via the MyHarvey app, or via our website on the Harvey Shop – you can also adjust your package to suit on an annual anniversary of your plan.
Your salt deliveries will occur during your water softener health check each year.
Salt volume is based on 1 Pack (2 blocks) per person in the household, per month. So 2 people living at the address will mean a delivery of 24 packs (48 blocks) at the end of year one
